The New PYL brings a new definition of all mountain riding. This new shape has the benefits of a longer edge hold while adding to the surface area of a wider shape. We blended the Hybrid versatility with the PYL’s big mountain profile. The coreless tail will allow the tail to sink more without losing the tortional stiffness. We’ve added some chakra windows to make this board your connection with your inner self. Tapered UnderBite delivers the directional drive and float of a tapered board without compromising edge hold or the ability to power out of turns that plagues most tapered boards.

Directional Volume Twin – As the lines between freeride and freestyle continue to erase, Yes. had to address the needs of those committed to riding twins but finding themselves in more pow. Symmetrical flex, centered stance, identical wide points of the board (therefore, NOT tapered), and identical shovel lengths but with a slightly lower volume tail.

Camber Profile:

CamRock 1-4-1 – The response of camber with the floatability of rocker. Camber between your feet acts as a spring, keeping your contact points on the ground as you go in and out of turns and allowing you to keep that edge hold longer. Once compressed the camber will accentuate the rocker and lift the nose out more, allowing it to float.

Base: 

PH Sintered – True Sintered bases are harder and more expensive than extruded, and can be faster for those that ride aggressively.

Tapered Underbite:

Tapered UnderBite – Each side of the board’s effective edge is segmented into 3 distinct parts that step horizontally inward rather than tapering. Traditional “tapered boards” take the full sidecut and pull the tail inward, which is away from the arc of your turn – this is why they tend to wash out under hard carving. Tapered UnderBite corrects this by increasing the sidecut depth as you move towards the tail creating a corrective “hook” to the taper. The board blends into turns effortlessly, and has the directional drive and float you’d expect from a tapered board.

Size wise a 159cm suits someone between 63kg and 86kg and if your looking for more speed and stability for bigger terrain, size up and alternatively if you're on the lower end of weight recommendation you can comfortably size down.  Anyone with a size 11 US foot or bigger would ideally want a Wide.
