Line | Chronic Snow Skis + Marker 13 ID Bindings | Mens | 2022
The park is right there, but the rest of the mountain looks so good right now. It's ok, we get it. Your park habit can peacefully co-exist with your desire for natural features, you just need to hook up a pair of the Line Skis Chronic Skis. With their mid-fat waist, poppy Maple Macroblock™ core, and symmetrical flex pattern, the Chronics are designed for the jib merchant hunting natural features all over the mountain and scratching the itch with sessions at the park. Just one more lap. Yeah, keep telling yourself that.
Early Rise™ – Tip and tail lift away from the snow to bring the contact points closer to the center of the ski. This increases a ski's lift in deep snow and allows it to engage more quickly on hard pack.
Rocker Profile – 2mm Tip / 5mm Camber / 2mm Tail
Symmetric Flex™ – The same flex pattern in front and behind your boot conforms to terrain equally riding forward & backward.
5-Cut™ – Five different radiuses are blended into the ski's sidecut. The result? A wide variety of turn shapes and an intuitive feel.
Early Taper™ – The widest part of the sidecut begins tapering earlier in the tip and tail which reduces tail hook ups in powder.
Thin Tip™ – Super thin core & sidewall in the tips are 100 grams lighter per pair for reduced swing weight & tip bounce.
Maple Macroblock™ – Two full length maple stringers surrounded by aspen for increased strength and durability.
Sidewall Construction – Ultra-high density Polyethylene vertical walls over the edges to absorb vibrations and provide powerful energy transmission.
Fatty Base | Sintered 1.7mm – High density sintered bases reduce friction against the snow allowing for more speed and better durability.
Fatty Edge | 2.5mm x 2.2mm – 30% thicker edge dramatically increases durability and tuning life of these skis.
Tuff Top™ – Textured tougher top materials for more abuse, less scratches and a longer, better looking life for the investment on your feet.
Recommended Stance Back from Center – 30 mm
INCLUDES MARKER GRIFFON BINDINGS
Freeride enthusiasts looking to drive wider skis without fear of pre-release have long looked to the Marker Griffon 13 ID Ski Bindings for their fantastic performance and reliability. They return for 2021 with a re-worked Inter Pivot 3 heelpiece that significantly improves step in performance, thus eliminating the one qualm that some users had. Equipped with Sole.ID technology that quickly adjusts the AFD plate to accommodate almost every boot sole norm, the Marker Griffon 13 ID Ski Bindings have you covered each and every time you click in.
Triple Pivot Elite 3 Toe – Toe construction with impressive retention when freeriding. The spring in the toe is inserted horizontally and with a sole plate inclined by 5° it provides the highest energy absorption so as to reduce the risk of early release. The large supporting surface oetimises the power transmission and allows for great stresses and strains.
AFD Gliding Plate – All Marker bindings (except the Jester Pro) are equipped with a moveable AFD (Anti Friction Device), allowing a precise release unhindered by dirt, snow, and ice buildup. The type of AFD is matched to the skier type, ensuring perfect functionality from racing to junior and even alpine touring.
